Tony Abbott and the Cilice
I'm fairly sure I heard Federal Opposition leader Tony Abbott say on ABC T.V once that he wore a Cilice. I may be wrong because I couldn't find a reference to it online. Anyway It's a kind of catholic penance thing and while I was looking around I found some references to a few different types of Cilice that you see can see in the pics above and find out more about in the links below.

Carcass - Symposium of Sickness
Carcass' drummer wrote the music for this, all the lead breaks etc were composed not jammed. This is amazing.
